7-11 RALLY. Ready for something different? This will NOT be your typical fun rally, but FUN it will be. Meet at Blanchard Park (aka Little Econlockhatchee Park) on Damsite Road off of Dean Road between University and Colonial Hwy 50 at 10 am (click here for a map). First car out will be at 10:30 am. Each entry in the rally will require a Corvette with a functioning odometer and approximately $5.00 in cash. An Orlando city map might be handy but not necessary. Navigators are recommended but not a requirement as you will NOT be answering a bunch of silly questions on this rally. Rather, this is a time-distance event with a twist (or two) where you plan your own route and come up with your own strategy for winning. Awards provided for the top 3 finishers. We'll all go grab a late lunch at Gleason's Grille when we're done. Come on out and drive your Corvette for a change! CFCA Chairpersons: Hutch & Patti Hutchinson.

ECKLER'S ANNUAL TOY RUN DRIVEOUT. CFCA will meet at the Amazon Mall parking lot (next to Krystal's restaurant, Rouse Rd and Hwy 50 Colonial) at 11:00 am and will depart for Eckler's at 11:15 am. Bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate. The toy run will begin from the Eckler's parking lot in Titusville around 1 pm. We'll take Route 1 (with Police escort and a fire engine bringing up the rear) to 528 east over the Indian and Banana rivers to Port Canaveral where we end at Rusty’s. The toys will be collected by the fire department for distribution to needy children. Then it is in to Rusty’s to mingle. It is a great ride and quite a sight as the caravan is aligned according to generation- oldest to newest. Please e-mail Kristy and George Halkovic at halk@cfl.rr.com with any questions or concerns.

CFCA HOLIDAY VISIT TO THE RUSSELL HOME. Come with us for our bi-annual visit to our favorite charity, The Russell Home for Atypical Children in Orlando. During this visit we will present the proceeds of our annual 50-50, Homecoming, and Roger's Cruz'In fundraising events. The Home is in desperate need of funds this time of year so this is bound to be a most welcome and emotional gift. Come see for yourself WHY we do what we do! During this visit we typically bring gifts for the kids (new items, gift wrapped, and a tag marked for a boy or girl and description of the contents). This is also a great time to bring donations for the home, such as household and cleaning supplies, that they always need. See the Russell Home web site for gift suggestions and needs for the home. CFCA will meet for lunch first at the Road House Grill on S. Orange Ave about 11:30am for lunch, and then caravan over to the Russell Home as a group. Come join us. Your heart will be touched and you will be blessed for doing so!
