Wed-Sat 25-28	NCRS 28TH ANNUAL WINTER REGIONAL MEET in Old Town, Kissimmee, FL. On Sat, Jan 28th, CFCA will meet at the OBT Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Hunters Creed at 7:30 a.m. for those that wish to eat breakfast, and then caravan over to the event as a group at 9:00 a.m. Event Chairperson: Hutch.
Fri 27	NCM MEMBER DINNER AT RACE ROCK, 7:00 p.m., International Drive. National Corvette Museum members only. Come meet and mingle with other NCM members and NCM staff. Sun 26	A&W DRIVEOUT. Remember that hot, sunny day when you rode your bicycle to the neighborhood A & W to get a thirst quenching, cold root beer in a frosted mug? Well, let's bring back some of those memories with a Corvette Drive-Out to the A & W on highway 50 in Clermont. 2:00 - meet at the West Oaks Mall, Ocoee, by Sears, west entrance. 2:30 - follow the leader as we depart for a beautiful loop drive, ending up at A & W around 4:00 pm for food and drink and conversation (on north side of street, next to Target). Sat 18	54TH ANNUAL 12 HOURS OF SEBRING. The 54th Annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring takes the green flag at 10:30 am Saturday, March 18. Gates open Wednesday, March 15, and remain open 24 hours a day through Saturday. Special Corvette Corral ticket packages are available through Sebring International Raceway (website www.sebringraceway.com). You MUST have one of these special tickets to park in the Corvette Corral. Cost is $178 for two one-day Supertickets and one car entry into the Corvette Corral when ordered before February 28. Four-day tickets can also be purchased. Tickets must be ordered by phone or by US Mail. Call 1-800-626-RACE or (863) 655-1442 to order. When ordering be sure to request the Corvette Corral tickets. The ticket will be stamped to show entry into the corral. Since they don't verify Corvette ownership over the phone, you must show up with a Corvette in addition to the special ticket. We have no specifics yet on the corral itself and what will be offered. CFCA will meet at 4:00 a.m. (gulp!) at the Hunter's Creek Cracker Barrel off Hwy 441 to depart at 4:30 for the races. Sat 22	FANTASY OF FLIGHT DRIVEOUT. Note the new departure location: CFCA will meet at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant on US27, north of I-4, exit 55. It's called Davenport Store No. 532. We will meet at this location at 9:00 a.m. and depart at 9:15 a.m. If you want breakfast, you're welcome to arrive earlier and partake. We'll most likely stop in for coffee / juice / restrooms. So look for some of us inside. This new location will allow a ride I'm sure you'll enjoy on our way to Fantasy of Flight. CFCA's discounted Fantasy of Flight ticket price is $22 per person. Sat 6	CORVETTES ON THE CIRCLE SHOW, Sarasota, FL. Large Corvette show at St Armand Circle in Sarasota. Presented By Skyway Corvette Club & Sunset Chevrolet – 8am to 3pm. Thu-Sat 4-6	THE GATHERING AT THE NCM. Annual ZR-1/Grand Sport/C4 Gathering at the National Corvette Museum, Bowling Green, KY. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the last C4s, the Collector Edition and the Grand Sports (as of this writing, over 30 Grand Sports are scheduled to attend!). The weekend will consist of drag racing, road tours, specialty seminars and an original Grand Sport on display. In the evenings there will be a BBQ, Go Karting, "Owners Night Out" dinner and the event banquet with benefit auction. CFCA Chairperson: John Hutchinson.

Sat 13	CIRCUIT CITY FIRST ANNUAL ANNUAL CAR SHOW, at the new Circuit City across from the Waterford Lakes Shopping Center (right next to the Home Depot & Kohl's, 400 N Alafaya Trail, just north of 408). Registration is $5 from 10 am to noon and the car show lasts from noon to 5 p.m. Awards at 5:30 p.m. Nine separate classes with trophies and an award for Club Participation. This show will be judged by the Circuit City Roadshop Specialists.

Sat 3	CFCA CAR AND TRUCK SHOW AT CLASSIC CHEVROLET. Classic Cheverolet & Gavin Hutchinson have agreed to team with Premium Car Shows to hold a Car and Truck Show on the Classic property Sat, June 3rd. CFCA should arrive by 8:00 a.m. CFCA members are requested to go to any auto related supplier or parts & service companys to ask for Trophy Sponsorhips at $20 each or they can have a space for $60 (3 trophys). Try not to line up any competitors of Classic) Not good! If anyone would be willing to volunteer for a shift during the day please come forward. Or if you know of someone who could prepare & sell food please forward the contact info. We're suggesting a flat fee of $1 per car for the franchise. Be sure to ask any food provider or vendor who wishes to have space on the Classic property to be prepared to provide proof of liability insurance. All moneys collected above and part of the registration fee will come back to CFCA. LOTS OF TROPHIES TO BE AWARDED! $20 pre-registration fee, $25 day of show. Sat 10	A&W DRIVEOUT - KISSIMMEE. There is a new A & W in Kissimmee. They are having their Grand Opening on Saturday, June 10th and are asking us to come on out and fill their parking lot with lots of cool cars - any kind. They will be offering us FREE ROOTBEER FLOATS. I'll go anywhere for a free rootbeer float. It should be a beautiful day, so come on out. Sat 17	VETTES AT THE VILLAGE. World Golf Village, near St. Augustine. NCCC NCCC sanctioned concours in a gorgeous setting. Hosted by North Florida Corvette Assoc and Corvette Club of Mandarin. Both an NCCC judged show and a People's Choice Open show. Registration is $25.00 with proceeds to the National Corvette Museum. Limited to the first 200 Corvettes. Tue 4th	HUNTER'S CREEK 4TH OF JULY PARADE AND CORVETTE DISPLAY. Tuesday, July 4 - 9:00 a.m. All Corvettes are invited to participate in the parade and the after-parade Corvette display. Sat 8	NEW SYMYRNA BEACH DRIVEOUT & CAR SHOW. CFCA will depart from the eastbound Lake Mary rest stop on I-4 at 2 p.m. to caravan to downown New Symrna Beach for their monthly hot rod cruise-in along Canal Street. After we park our cars, we'll walk down to the Sea Harvest restaurant for some GREAT yet casual seafood. CFCA Chairperson: John Hutchinson.
Sun 9	RUSSELL HOME VISIT. Our semi-annual visit to the Russell Home for Atypical Children. CFCA Members are encouraged to bring household supplies, cleaning materials, etc, as donations. Call it "Sundry Sunday" at the Russell Home! Meet at the Road House on Orange Ave near Michigan at 11:00 a.m. for lunch after which we will all caravan over to the Russell Home. Sat 15	ECKLERS CASINO CRUISE. Port Canaveral. FREE but you might want to bring some gambling money! Eckler's provides snacks and doorprizes. Co-hosted by Z06VETTE.com, this event brings enthusiasts together for a fun-packed three days with activities including an up-close feature of the newest Z06, road and lunch tours, seminars to give the latest Corvette performance updates, BBQ, drag racing, autocross, "Celebrity Choice" car show, and the Z06 banquet, awards presentation and benefit auction.
Sat 22	CFCA MIDNIGHT BOWLING PARTY. We will meet at Friendly Confines (the old "Gators") located at Semoran & Aloma at 8:00pm and then head over to Aloma Lanes Bowling Center (407-671-8675). Sat 19	SLEUTH'S MYSTERY DINNER THEATER, 7 - 10 p.m. Located at 8267 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819 (click here for a map). This should be a lot of fun so everyone is encouraged to sign up. The cost is $36 per person (with our group discount) and includes dinner, tax, gratuitiy, and free house wine, beer, and soda. Cash bar is also available. Choose one of 3 meal options: (1) Cornish game hen, (2) Lasagna (with or without meat), (3) Prime Rib ($3 add't charge). No cancellations within 3 days of the dinner. Thu-Sun Aug 31-Sep 3	NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION. Bowling Green Kentucky. A Members Only event, those registered can enjoy four days of displays, road tours, special video presentations, antique shopping and winery visit bus tour, raffles, the annual open Board meeting and more. If you attend, be sure to look for the CFCA BANNER on display near the front of the museum entrance. Sat 30	CHRIS CRUZ ARTISTRY DRIVEOUT. CFCA will meet at 9:30 a.m. at Volcano's Coffee Shop in the Longwood Village Shopping center. The shop is less than an 1/8th of a mile east of I-4 on the north side of 434. From I-4 take exit 94 for SR 434 and go east on 434. At the 1st light (ABC store & Boston Market) turn into the Longwood Village Shopping center. Volcanos is on the far west side of the plaza (to the west of Crispers and close to Boston Market). Arrive early if you want to grab a bite to eat. At 9:45 a.m. we will take a leisurely drive to visit auto and motorcycle artist extraordinairre, Chris Cruz, at his facility at 1622 Parade Circle, DeLand, Florida 32724 (www.chriscruz.com). Chris has promised to have several examples of his recent work on display and you might even get to see the master at work, or at least, schedule an appointment. Afterwards, we'll take a leisurely 20-30 min drive to Aster, FL and the Blackwater Inn, a great place for lunch on the St John's River. Come join us!

Hundreds of classic and collectible vehicles including Street Rods & Custom cars will be displayed on the streets of downtown Lakeland on Saturday. Although the event is not judged, ribbons and prizes are presented to vehicles selected as sponsor favorites. Participants receive a Goody Bag from area merchants and event sponsors, a custom display sign for the vehicle, breakfast and lunch for two and event souvenir. To be held ONE LAST TIME at the Holiday Isle Beach Resort, U.S. 1, Mile Marker #84, in Islamorada. Only the first 100 cars registered will be judged. 20 classes, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Sat, 2	CFCA HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA! CFCA'S Christmas Party is our big formal event of the year! Fine dining, member recognition, awards, prizes, fun! This year's event will be one to remember for years to come. It will be held at the Radisson University Hotel, 1724 Alafaya Trail (located just north of Colonial Hwy 50) in eastern Orlando. The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. with an "Open Bar" (yep, you read it right) followed by a fabulous dinner (Turkey, Prime Rib, and all the fixin's) with live entertainment by White Rose. A special room rate of $69 has been arranged for CFCA Members. Contact Kathy Hall when you call for reservations. There will also be a marked area for Corvette parking only with a security guard on site. Important Note: We are limited to a maximum of 64 people so come to the next club meeting and put your name down on the sign up sheet to make your reservation, but ONLY if you fully plan to attend. This event is co-hosted by Betty and Don Ashe ("Bad Acres") and CFCA. It also marks Don's 30th anniversary as a CFCA member (and his birthday on Dec 1st) so come help him celebrate. This year CFCA will deliver gifts and our annual Christmas donation during a driveout to the Russell Home on Sunday, Dec 10th, meeting at Courtesy Chevrolet (Hwy 436/OIA) at 10:00am, departing for the Russell Home at 10:30 with lunch at the Road House on Orange Ave following our visit.
