CFCA ANNUAL TRIP TO THE KEYS. Join CFCA for a fun weekend in Key West, Florida! No car show, just fun in the sun in the Keys. Discounted hotel arrangements, sunset cruise, great food, and of course, the Duval Crawl.

CFCA will depart from the Cracker Barrel on OBT (just south of 417) at 7:45am on Friday, Nov 1st. Arrive earlier (they open at 7:00am) if you want breakfast. We'll stop for a group lunch at Hog Heaven in Islamorada enroute to Key West. We should arrive at our hotel in Key West mid afternoon.

Our group hotel is the Key West Barbary Beach House directly across from Smathers Beach in Key West. If you have not made your hotel reservations yet, you must do so using this special CFCA RESERVATION LINK NLT Wednesday, October 6, 2021 to qualify for our group rate. See Patti's Key West Memo and scroll to the Hotel section if you have difficulty making a reservation or for more details on our hotel and the trip overall.

Like last year, on FRIDAY night we'll enjoy a Sunset Happy Hour from the deck of the retired Coast Guard ship, the USCGC INGHAM, docked on the Truman Annex Waterfront in Old Town Key West. This glorious old ship is a floating museum and makes for a fascinating visit. It's only $5 per person to board with no crowds to fight like on Mallory Square and they'll have a bar set up and deck chairs for us to enjoy, too. No reservations required. They know we're coming! :)

Our Sunset Cruise with Danger Charters will be on SATURDAY night (Nov 6th) and you must be at the pier by 5:00 pm or risk being left behind. To book this cruise call Danger Charters at 305-304-7999 and tell them you are with the Central Florida Corvette Association Group to get our special discounted price of $106.16pp which includes tax and 15% gratuity and some really nice wine and cheese pairings during the cruise. You must secure your reservations NLT October 9th. After that, we'll have to return any unused reservations. You may still be able to get tickets after this date, just not guaranteed. The sunset cruise is a highlight of the trip so don't miss it! We'll have a group dinner at a casual place along the water on Saturday night after the cruise.

While not organized as a club function, you may book a "Tiki Hut" cruise individually. We've done this before and it was loads of fun, featuring cute little 6-passenger boats built like tiki hut bars that will take you on a 2-hour sightseeing trip out to Sunset Key and back again. Water, ice, and sodas are provided but bring your own beer, liquor, and/or snacks if desired. There are NO restrooms on board so do your "business" before you board or else you'll be doing it overboard. You may make your own reservations with a credit card by calling Crusin' Tikis at 833-845-4759.

You are on your own for the return trip to Orlando. Some folks depart for home on Sunday, others spend a few more days in paradise. Either way you are sure to have a blast in the Keys with your CFCA buddies! Click here for Patti's Key West Trip Memo or CFCA Caravan Info. Questions? Contact the CFCA Chairperson, Patti Hutchinson, 407-256-1335.
