Fri-Mon 6-9 CFCA ANNUAL KEY WEST TRIP. - CANCELLED. CFCA's annual trek to Key West has been cancelled this year due to COVID-19 issues. The boat races and Parrotheads also have cancelled their events. Many of the stores in Key West have closed permanently and not all restaurants or bars are open yet. The ones that are open are only at 50% capacity. Masks are required at all times except when eating or drinking. Not all activities or points of interest are open yet. After discussing our options at the last Zoom meeting, we all agreed this was not the time to go. Hopefully, we can do Key West next year. Sat-Sun, 7-8 CFCA MUSCLE CAR CITY TRIP. CFCA overnight trip to Punta Gorda to visit the Muscle Car City collection. We will depart Orlando around mid-day Saturday and spend the night at a Punta Gorda hotel and enjoy dinner at a local seafood restaurant. We will tour Muscle Car City on Sunday, returning at your leisure. CFCA will depart from the Cracker Barrel on OBT (just south of 417) at 9:00am on Saturday, Nov 7th. Arrive earlier (they open at 6:00am) if you want breakfast. We'll stop for a group lunch along the way enroute to Punta Gorda. We should arrive at our hotel in Punta Gorda mid-afternoon. Still working the route and place for lunch. And dinner is along the harbor walking distance from the hotel (more later on this as well).
